These times are guidelines — we're flexible when the calendar allows. Just message us if you'd like an early arrival or late departure.
🔑 Smart Lock
You'll receive a unique code valid for your stay by message or email. If you have any access issues, call us immediately.
🗑️ Trash & Recycling
Bins are located in the enclosure next to the casita wall. Premium valet service — no need to roll bins to the street. Keep lids closed and leave them in the enclosure. The trash company sorts recycling onsite — no sorting needed.
⚡ Electrical Panel
Main electrical panel is located on the side of the house. Gas shut-off is on the street. Contact us before touching any utility shut-offs.

Serviced weekly on Fridays by Andrew (928-399-8045). Service rep arrival time varies — he may come anytime during the day. Always close and lock when not in use.
🛁 Hot Tub Cover Instructions
Always use 2 people to open the cover. Lift and fold in half, then lift upward and push back. Always cover when not in use.
🧖 About Your Infrared Sauna
The IR sauna operates at lower temperatures than a traditional sauna — typically up to 140°F max. This is completely normal. Infrared heat penetrates deeper into muscle tissue and delivers the same or greater therapeutic benefits at a more comfortable temperature. No need to wait for rocks to heat up — the unit is ready in about 15 minutes.
🧊 Cold Plunge
The cold plunge is a stainless steel tub — not a chiller. To use it, fill with cold water and add ice. You're welcome to use the ice already in the freezer in the garage, or pick up bagged ice from the store. Limit sessions to 2–3 minutes. Do not use alone.

Fire Pit & BBQ
🔥 Gas Fire Pit
Fire pits use a long metal key inserted into the side of the stone pit to control the gas ball valve.
Insert the metal key into the hole on the side of the firepit.
Hold a barbecue lighter or long match at the center of the burner.
Turn the key to the ON position — you will hear gas releasing. The flame will ignite.
To turn off, turn the key back to the OFF position.
🍖 BBQ Grill
Grill is connected to natural gas — no propane tank needed. Check grease trays inside the BBQ drawers and ensure they are not overflowing before use.

🔥 Modern Flames Electric Fireplace (Pro Series Remote)
The fireplace is controlled by the Pro Series Remote:
- Power — top left button
- Color — use the color wheel dial to select zone then pick color
- Heat — cycles between High / Low / Off
- Flame intensity — select zone then use wheel or slide bar
- Ember Bed & Downlight — select zone then adjust with wheel
- Sync — syncs all zones to the same flame color
- Reset — returns all zones to default settings

House Policies
🚬 No Smoking
Absolutely no smoking inside the house. Smoking permitted outside only.
🐾 Pet Policy
Maximum 2 pets with a fee of $150 per pet. Please clean up after your pet before checkout.
📺 Smart TVs
All TVs have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming apps built in.
🧴 Household Supplies
Paper products, hand soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided. Pantry condiments and drinks are free to use — our house is your house!
⚠️ Septic System
Only water, thin toilet paper, and waste down drains. No wet wipes, feminine products, or anything else. If a grinder pump alarm sounds (red light), contact us immediately and minimize water use.
🦌 Wildlife
You may encounter javelinas, deer, squirrels, and birds — especially at night. Do not feed any animals. Keep gates closed and trash secured. In summer, use insect repellent outdoors.

Departure Checklist
Checkout is suggested by 11:00 AM, but we're flexible when the calendar allows — just message us if you need extra time. A couple of quick favors before you go:
- Take all trash & bathroom bags to containers outside
- No need to make beds — sheets will be washed
- Load dishwasher and start it (if used dishes)
- Replace any furniture that was moved
- Remove opened food from fridge and cupboards
- Turn off all lights and appliances
- Double-check all drawers and closets for personal items
- Lock and close all doors and windows
- Close and lock the hot tub cover
