We always had anything we needed when cooking at the home. All utensils, cookware is available and great quality. It truly was a home away from home.We loved the location because we had amazing views, but it was also so close to town. It’s a 5 minute walk to Whole Foods. Our drives to the various hiking locations were easy since it was so centrally located.Playing cornhole in the backyard was a constant every time we were home. The gas fire feature in the back was perfect for ambience and cool nights. Coming back to soak in the hot tub after our hikes always rejuvenated us for the next hike.The owner is very responsive to any and all questions. Our family created fantastic memories here. It was our first visit to Sedona and this home made the memories even better.”

“Stayed at Mike's place for the weekend and it was UNBELIEVEABLE. The views of the red rocks are unmatched, and love the huge yard with the massive sliding glass doors. We were able to enjoy grilling while enjoying the incredible sunsets. The house has everything you could possible need. It is also located near whole foods and tons of restaurants. we also had a tesla so it was awesome to have a charger in the garage. Plus the cold plunge and sauna are hard to beat. “Wow!! This home did not disappoint. The view is spectacular and location is great. Close enough to town, yet you had your privacy. We spent 2 weeks here with the family and had a wonderful time. Mike was very helpful with suggestions and quick to respond. Everything was exactly as described. If you are use to central air as we are being from the Midwest and are concerned about the mini splits, don’t be. We couldn’t even tell the difference, it was plenty cool. The family enjoyed hanging out on the patio watching football and playing corn hole. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.”

Loved that the check out process wasn’t tedious like some Airb&b’s. The location is right by the sunrise trail which takes you up to Posse Park and the Sedona shuttle for popular trail heads on weekends. We had young kids with us and a late afternoon walk up to the playground at the park was not too far at all. My only critique would be that the primary bedroom/bathroom suite was very open and the only thing that separated you from the others in the house was a sliding barn door without a lock.”

“Stayed here with four friends from May 23–26 and had an amazing time. The house was super spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the fully equipped kitchen, and the TVs outside—which were perfect for unwinding in the evenings. There was plenty of outdoor furniture to lounge on, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a couple blocks from Whole Foods and close to all the Sedona attractions. The photos truly don't do the location justice—this place is a gem and has all of the views you would want for Sedona. It's walking distance to a grocery store, pharmacies, and even a local park where we stumbled upon live music at night at the pavilion on the weekends! The outdoor space was ideal for everything we needed, especially our family-style dinners under the stars. Each room was cozy and comfortable, and the layout worked perfectly for our large group. The living area opens up to the spacious outdoor patio, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. It snowed while we were there so we didn't spend a ton of time out in the back yard, but the hot tub was a big hit. The beds were comfortable; everyone got great sleep. The towels are top notch. “This place is awesome! It was clean and prepared for our visit. Prior to arrival Mike sent a text with the house rules and instructions to gain entry. He also prepared the spa for us. Upon arrival there was a binder with instructions on using the amenities (heating, WiFi code, electric door opener, gas grill, etc.) on the counter as you enter the front door. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Of course, you have to provide the specific food you want, but everything else (cookware, oven mitts, Aluminum foil, cling wrap, dishes, utensils, etc.) is there, even some non-perishables. The remotes, including the garage door opener were nicely placed on the wall next to the TVs, which are all smart TVs, so you can stream all your media either by logging into your account on the TV or connecting via Airplay or Google Chromecast. The view is *amazing*, from every room. The patios were clear of debris, the furniture was comfortable. It was just awesome!!!”

My elderly father who's not that mobile appreciated that the house was all on one level (just a couple steps to get in, or can go through the garage and then it's just one small step), and bedroom 1 was just perfect for him - easy to navigate, particularly the spacious bathroom with zero-entry shower. We loved that we could open up the panoramic door and merge the living room/kitchen with the outside. The kitchen was great to cook in, we loved the hot tub. Everything was super clean. “Of all the Airbnbs we have stayed at "Sedona Shangri-La" far exceeded our expectations! We were there for a family vacation with our two adult kids and their spouses to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. The house is beautifully decorated with amazing views looking out the panoramic door inside and from the large covered patio outside. All beds were comfortable with high quality linens. The large MBR/Bath had a cold plunge, dry sauna, and a hot tub on the patio, which everyone loved after a day of hiking! My daughter worked some so used the open office and den area adjacent to their bedroom for her zoom calls. My son and his girlfriend got the beautiful attached suite and loved their private space. The huge outdoor patio with kitchen had amazing views and was perfect for grilling out, game nights, yoga, or just chilling. We loved playing corn hole and ladder ball in the yard. A separate small yard is perfect for dogs. A nice short hike is right by the driveway! Close to everything!”

“Take a moment to look through the windows before you unlock the door. It took me until the 3rd day to appreciate that the red rocks come forward as in 3D right through the front windows. This home is so thoughtfully designed, the view from each window, the dimmers on the light switches, the reflection of the indoor fireplace reflecting on top of the outdoor wine fridge and grill, the pitch and alignment of the roof above the outdoor patio and the way the indoor lighting aligns perfectly with the outdoor lighting and natural surroundings. I booked 7 nights and ended up extending to 11 nights. There are many homes available that can boast they are in a great and convenient location (and this one has it), however, you won’t want to leave this one. My friends and I took advantage of the outdoor space and had a private yoga session one day and a crystal bowl sound bath / meditation the next. You will never regret booking your stay at what I feel is my home away from home now. Thank you!”

The large patio just off the kitchen with huge sliding door creates a huge inviting space, we never wanted to leave. The kitchen is fully stocked, no need to bring anything other than food, and Whole Foods is within walking distance. The back yard is quite with nothing to interrupt the amazing views. Even saw a friendly javelina in the back yard”

“We booked 4 nights. Five of us (adults) for our son's 30th birthday. Everything was seamless from check in and out. The home was spotless and accurate to the photos. The home is brand-new and will only get better as it gets more usage. Very comfortable for our crew . The views are beyond amazing. Maybe not the best place for kids that want activity, but Mike has many that have bells and whistles, but for location, quality and VEIWS, this is a good place. Thanks Mike.”

“AMAZING house and location. We had the best family trip over New Year’s and loved all of the home’s accommodations. We walked to almost everything, including Whole Foods. We got lucky with the weather, so we were able to enjoy all of our time outdoors and on the beautiful patio. This home offers some of Sedona’s most breathtaking views. Michael was very responsive and helpful from start to finish. He left detailed information about the house and area. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of room. We love to cook at home and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for each meal that we prepared. And big props on having top notch pillows. We’ve stayed in some of the nicest places and had our vacation ruined from bad pillows and neck pain. Every detail about this place was on point. Highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Gorgeous, clean and modern house with million dollar views and the furnishings to maximize your enjoyment of it all. Jacuzzi was clean, modern, and well-maintained and a very nice touch to enjoy the views. The outdoor space was tastefully furnished and we enjoyed eating out there while enjoying the views. Great location relative to the town and all it has to offer as well. Just a few minutes from Whole Foods. Would highly recommend this place!
